Fall ‘06: Press Start to Begin

With the new term approaching it’s time to start talking about what we’ll be doing. We’ll be having our first meeting this coming Monday (September 4th) to discuss what is going on. If you’re in Waterloo and feel like stopping by to offer some input, you are more than welcome. Details of the meeting are as follows:

September 4th - 2pm @ SLC Great Hall

• Who’s running the club
• Dates of events
• Tournaments
• Club promotion
• Anything else that may come up

Spring ‘06 Game Over

Another term has passed and as we watch the exams fly by, we reflect on the term here at UWGamers.

Besides our typical Game On! events, we participated in one of the school’s Warrior Weekends in the SLC. Additionally, we held our wildly successful Super Smash Brothers Melee tournament that saw UW’s best of the best SSBM players duke it out. Our first ever DS event, Don’t Study, was a blast!

Looking ahead to the Fall ‘06 term, we’ve got a few ideas for tournaments and events to run. We’re also hoping to get some official UWGamers Tshirts made, so keep an eye out for those. As usual, you can find the latest news right here on the website. If you have time, drop by the forums and say Hi!
